I am a story-telling geek who loves to read and write about strong, competent, creative women and the men who love them. On a Whim, my first published novel, won the Contemporary Romance Writers Stiletto Contest in 2017 in the Contemporary Romance – Short category, and for Best First Book.
Born and raised in New Jersey, I moved to Canada after working as an engineer in an overseas oil refinery, where I met my husband, Tom. We’ve been married since 1980, and have two sons who are all grown up and living on their own. Tom and I currently live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
I divide my time between building custom WordPress websites for authors, and writing both fiction and non-fiction. I learned long ago that I need both the technical and the creative to keep my brain busy and my heart happy!
When I’m not writing or working on a website, I enjoy traveling to warm places (I’m solar powered!), cooking (and eating!), crocheting, crocheting (because Knitting Is Hard), and curling up on the couch with a good book. And listening to all sorts of music.
I truly believe that everyone deserves their Happy Ever After. And if you’re not living yours right now, duck into a book. Someone else’s story can give you the hope you need, and show you what’s possible.
