Well. I’ve been meaning to do this for a while now. It’s time.
I’ve spent the last 21 years building my business. It’s changed names — and purpose — over the years, but everything I’ve done has been to promote and support the business.
Earlier this year, I made the decision to stop taking new clients. Creative Implementations will continue as my business entity. I still host websites for a number of clients, and I support just under twenty WordPress sites by performing regular maintenance on them (keeping the WordPress core and all installed plugins up to date, controlling spam, and managing security).
I sell from that site: as of this writing, I have a book and an information product (ebook) for sale there. And I’ve got a couple of long term strategy and coaching clients I will support as long as they want to continue that relationship.
But I’m not taking on any new clients or projects. Because it’s time to focus on my writing. And so, I am now branding ME as ME. Not as my business.
I’m writing a novel! A romance novel, in fact. And I’ve joined the Romance Writers of America, and hired a writing coach, and attended my very first writing retreat.
Lots of changes, all of them good. I’m learning how to use various tools and methods to tap into my creativity (dreams, tarot and other oracle methods). And I’m writing. A lot. I’m aiming for a little every day, although I’m not quite there yet.
I have no idea how often I’ll post here. I imagine I’ll be cyclical: I’ll post a lot sometimes, and then disappear for a while, and then come back.
So come back and visit. You never know what you might find!
